Established in 1989, RACDA membership consists of career development professionals from 19 colleges and universities in the Rochester, New York area. The purpose of the Association is to support the functions of career development, placement and experiential education in the region.

Several standing committees exist to further these ends, including:

Law School Night
Provides students from Rochester area colleges with an opportunity to meet with law school admissions representatives.  

Graduate School Fair Program
The Graduate School Fair program provides a forum for graduate and professional school representatives to meet with Rochester area college students and alumni.  The 2014 Graduate School Fair program is as follows:  Monday, October 20, 2014, Houghton College, 5-7 pm; Tuesday, October 21, 2014, Alfred University, 12-2 pm; October 21, 2014, SUNY Geneseo, 5-7 pm; Wednesday, October 22, 2014, Rochester Institute of Technology, 11 am - 1 pm, and Wednesday, October 22, 2014, St. John Fisher College, 3-5 pm.  Registration will begin in mid-June.  

Rochester Area Career EXPO  Annual event, usually in the Winter, to bring together employers and students from all Rochester area colleges, especially business, human services, criminal justice and nursing, allied health and science fields, and liberal arts majors.

Teacher Recruitment Day
Teacher Recruitment Day is held each Spring.  All Rochester area colleges that train teachers participateTRD 2015 is in the planning stages.  The 2015 dates are April 13-April 17, 2015.  TRD offers concurrent events for local Rochester school districts "Rochester Area TRD" and nationwide districts "TRD USA".  Contact SUNY Geneseo, Department of Career Development for additional information at 585-245-5722.
