RACDA is an association of career development professionals from 21 colleges and universities in the Rochester, New York area. RACDA's purpose is to support the functions of career development, placement, and experiential education in the region.

history

The Rochester Area Career Development Association was chartered in 1989 to support the collaborative efforts of career professionals at area colleges and universities in the planning and implementation of events such as Teacher Recruitment Day, Graduate School Days, and the Rochester Area Colleges Alumni Networking Event. RACDA membership currently consists of career development professionals from 19 colleges and universities in the Rochester, New York area. The purpose of the Association is to support the functions of career development and experiential education in the region by:

Creating a Forum

for the exchange of ideas and information.

Developing, Supporting, and Delivering

career development special events, programs, and committees.

Collaborating and Partnering

with diverse organizations, developing relationships with employers, and nurturing connections with graduate/professional studies personnel.

Providing Opportunities

for the professional development of its members.
